THE FURTHER ADVENTURES OF "SOMETHING FUNKY"
Hello, dear friends!
I want to give you something you may have never had before. A close and intimate view into the building of a song. I don't know if one would think this was a Christian song, but in writing a 2nd guitar part, I feel like it's being "born again". Right here on your screen are two audio players...
Player 1: Contains my original: "Something Funky" as I recorded all parts about a few years ago. Now I'm collaborating with another guitarist (Mike), and he is AWESOME. Thus, I need another guitar part that will put the FUN in the FUNKY. Everybody should get "Funked-Up" sometime! So, here it is - the original Something Funky © 1996David Moody:
Player 2: This is an idea I had for a 2nd guitar part. Keep in mind this is just a clip from my digital recorder pedal (Boss RC-2 "loop station" - I love it for the great writing tool it is). This Reggae/Ska up beat chop seems to work out nicely. I hope you like it.
I had not imagined in all my searching that I might even FIND a bunch of guys that could all still get along when they weren't playing. I DO believe this may have finally happened. Feel free to tell me what you think - my guest book is open to ALL!
